The main goal of the Action is to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) active in the cutting-edge productive sectors in the Region of Epirus in the creation of New Jobs (NJ), and to support the employment of highly qualified unemployed persons. In this way, the action contributes to increasing the participation of unemployed persons in the labour market, while also supporting investment in human resources with advanced skills, thus stimulating the local labour market. Financing concerns the full salary cost and employer contributions for a period of 18 months. Upon expiry of the 18-month period, the enterprise shall undertake the obligation of maintaining the NJ for an additional period of 4 months.
This call concerns two distinct sub-actions and the Potential Beneficiary is required to select the sub-action for which it wishes to submit its proposal:
4B.a.1a: Creating New Jobs in the context of implementing the ITI Strategy The sub-action contributes to the ‘Route of the Ancient Theatres, Nature, and Culture in Epirus’ ITI, and in particular to Specific Objective ‘4.1 Promotion of active employment policies with special emphasis on areas being abandoned by young populations’. It exclusively relates to the areas of:
4B.a.2a: Creating New Jobs in the context of the regional dimension of the NSSS This sub-action focuses on the Sectors of the regional dimension of the National Smart Specialisation Strategy 2021- 2027 (NSSS), which was approved by Decision No 66021/29-06-2022 (Government Gazette Series II, Issue 3359) of the Minister of Development and Investment, which are:
