Support for entrepreneurship with emphasis on tourism and the secondary processing of agricultural products

Summary

This action, ‘Support for entrepreneurship with emphasis on tourism and the secondary processing of agricultural products’, includes the following categories:

  • Link with tourism/culture (development of value chains)

This category aims to establish a direct or indirect link between the tourism product of the area in which the integrated territorial development strategy is implemented and the use of local/regional resources, through its upgrading and expansion.

  • Utilisation of agricultural production (secondary processing)

The proposals to be submitted will concern only the secondary processing of products included exclusively in Annex I to the TFEU. They must not overlap with, and must be complementary to, the actions co-funded by the EAFRD, and concern support in the form of grants to existing SMEs for the development of their activities with a view to utilising agricultural production through secondary processing procedures and, where possible, through the use of innovation and/or research/technology products.
