Funding to strengthen the Digital Transformation of Enterprises in the Publishing sector

Summary

The purpose of the Programme is to strengthen enterprises in the publishing sector through digital transformation. The key objectives of the programme will be achieved through the promotion of digital transformation processes that will enable enterprises to adapt to new technological developments and the requirements of the digital age. Encouragement of new/alternative models of production, distribution and promotion of digital content enables enterprises in the sector to gain alternative sources of revenue, beyond traditional revenue models. It is deemed necessary to support investments in infrastructure and know-how in order to create an environment in which publishing enterprises can develop and disseminate digital content. Finally, it is also important for publishing enterprises to restructure their resources in order to increase their efficiency through digitisation of processes.
