Summary

The implementation of Action 1.1.2 ‘Investments in fishing vessels without increasing their fishing capacity’ aims to:
•    improve the safety of fishers on board fishing vessels;
•    improve health conditions for fishers on board fishing vessels;
•    improve hygiene conditions for fishers on board fishing vessels;
•    improve working conditions for fishers on board fishing vessels;
•    improve the hydrodynamics of the vessel hull; and
•    improve the quality and hygiene of catches, thereby adding value to fishery products.
