The Action aims to increase the added value of agricultural products by incorporating innovation procedures in a manner compliant with environmental protection and sustainable development, with the goal of covering Greece’s needs in quality processed goods and increasing penetration into foreign markets. Investments that will maintain and create jobs that will contribute to social stability, economic development of local communities and equal access to employment on the one hand, while on the other helping produce quality products that promote a healthy diet will be prioritised for support. Priorities for this action include support for first-processing and PDO-PGI standardization enterprises with national certification labels, as well as enterprises participating in contractual agriculture schemes.
