The new ISAMIS ensures transparency in the procedures for the implementation of state aid actions

The new Integrated State Aid Management Information System (iSAMIS) of the Ministry of Development and Investment has already begun accepting applications for actions of the NSRF 2021-2027.

The new iSAMIS is designed to capitalise on the potential for interoperability with the other public administration IT systems, on the one hand to facilitate the candidate investor, and on the other hand to ensure transparency in the implementation and control procedures of state aid actions.

The identification/authentication of iSAMIS users is carried out via taxisnet codes for natural and legal persons based in Greece – including the potential for using iSAMIS codes for businesses in the process of being established or for persons based outside Greece – with the aim of facilitating the personalised access of users to data and system operations in accordance with the roles and rights assigned to them.

As such, potential Beneficiaries who wish to submit an Application for Funding under a given Action are granted access to the iSAMIS through the taxisnet authentication mechanism, or alternatively authorise other users (who will be identified/authenticated in the same way) to carry out the desired actions in the iSAMIS, such as completing and the submitting an Application for Funding under an action.

The above identification procedure contributes towards better supervision of the actions implemented at each stage of submission of a Funding Application, as this clarifies responsibility of the individual steps for submission of a proposal. At the same time, this bars the use of illegal software or mass submissions of Funding Applications, a practice that de facto undermines the integrity of each Application individually.

For the convenience of interested investors, a Guide to the submission of funding applications has been drawn up and is available here.
